Elevation United Methodist Church is conveniently located at 5101 Elevation Road in Benson and is approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the adjoining towns of Smithfield, Selma and Four Oaks.

Elevation is located on the highest elevation in Johnston County--hence it's name.

Our membership is made up of a community of Christians at different stages in their Spiritual Journey.  We are empowered by the Holy Spirit, filled with God's love and grace and led by Christ's example.

We are Blessed to have Reverend Vernon C. Tyson as our Pastor.  Reverend Tyson is a North Carolina native who lived in Chapel Hill during his high school years.  His father was Minister of Carrboro Methodist Church.  Reverend Tyson is one of six brothers who all became Methodist ministers.

We invite all who are seeking a home of worship in which to serve Christ, to come and grow spiritually with us.
